She has been with Citi for nearly two decades.
Citi has appointed Beibei Li as head of banking and origination for Belt and Road where she will oversee the bank’s operations around the Chinese connectivity project.
Beibei will relocate from New York where she is responsible for the Chinese institutional client portfolio in North America within the global subsidiaries group.
Beibei has been with Citi since 1999 where she started as CIB management associate in China and steadily rose through the ranks to assume the role of senior relationship manager for the bank's Asia Pacific office in the US.
Her appointment will take effect on September 1.
