Citi appoints new APAC head of sales for custody and fund services

Citi has appointed Mark England as Asia Pacific head of sales for custody and fund services.

England returns to Citi from State Street, where he most recently held the position of Asia Pacific head of client relationship management. He first joined Citi in Dublin in 1998. He moved to Hong  Kong in 2010 as part of the Client Sales Management team.

England will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Sanjiv Sawhney, global head of custody and fund services, and David Russel, Asia Pacific head of securities services and Hong Kong head of markets.

Citi Securities Services reportedly has over $24.9t of assets under custody and administration as of Q3 2020 and boasts of a proprietary network spanning over 60 markets. It offers clients in-depth local market expertise, advanced processing technologies and a wide range  of custody and fund services.
