This brings the total number of open branches to 27.
OCBC will reopen three branches and a dedicated Premier Banking Centre in Singapore due to rising activity after the phase one of lifting of circuit breaker measures began, bringing the total number of open branches to 27, according to an announcement.
Starting 11 June, branches in Bukit Batok, Sun Plaza and White Sand will reopen to support rising footfall in the Choa Chu Kang, Tampines, Jurong East, and Northpoint City branches. The dedicated Premier Banking Centre at Parkway Parade will also reopen to serve customers flocking to the Marine Parade branch.
From 12 June onwards, OCBC will resume face-to-face wealth advisory services by appointment only for bancassurance, funds, structured investments and bonds at 27 branches and nine Premier Banking Centres. However, clients are still encouraged to use its virtual wealth advisory service which was launched in April.
Bank employees are required to don face shields and face masks whilst rendering the in-person wealth advisory service. Other safe distancing measures, such as SafeEntry QR code scanning, downloading and utilising the TraceTogether app, and one-metre queue markings will be enforced.
